Construction is a contact sport, and not in the way you think I mean. Sure, you pound about a million nails a year, go through boxes and boxes of air gun rounds, but again, not what I am talking about.
To keep the doors open, the truck payments current and your teams happy, you need revenue, and the best way to keep the money flowing is by following up with your EXISTING leads. Too many times I’ve seen a contractor make a call or two to a prospect, consider it a dead end, complain about where the lead came from, then throw it away.
It takes 7 attempts JUST TO REACH SOMEONE these days. Don’t be that company that just keeps paying for new business when there is plenty to gain from working what you already have.
Work your leads until you get a yes or a no. Either one…but get one, you owe it to yourself and your business.
