What works on contractor websites and what doesn’t seems to change all the time. One month it’s links from article sites and reciprocal links, the next month great content and social media make the world go round for site dev.
So, with that said, you should know that meta description which used to mean a lot, means almost nothing today…to search engines. It still means a ton as a short, 160 word advertisement to get a real person to click on your page, but to the search engines it means little if anything.
Title tags on the other hand, mean the friggin’ world. Name your pages with keyword rich titles and the world could be your oyster…if you use the right keywords!
