Ever want to follow someone on Twitter and you hit follow and a minute later you get a “this user uses Twitter verification blah blah blah.” By the time I get to the “this user uses” part, I am deleting the email.
I don’t understand what people are so worried about? Who are they worried will follow them, prospects?
You are saying to people that you don’t trust them enough to follow you, what impression do you think that leaves with Mrs. Jones? Do your business a favor in 2014, turn the friggin’ Twitter verification thingy off please!

I agree with this with all of my heart and would add that business accounts on Twitter also should not be protected.
